On my Windows 7 laptop, both the program and the diagnostic software failed to install. I wasted around 5-6 hours of my life trying to get this to work with HP Support before giving up. This is probably the worst item I’ve ever bought, but I could be wrong:-) It was difficult to work with the customer support people. I’m never going to buy another HP product. HP Envy 7155 vs 7855
I have two options when printing from my iPhone: 8.5X11 blank paper or a 5X7 photograph. Because the majority of my photographs must be printed in 4X6, I must first transfer them to my laptop. I’m irritated since we were informed that I could print 4X6 photos with my phone. The only way to have complete control over how your printer prints are to use a laptop or desktop computer. Yes, unmistakably, is the simple response. First, I set up the printer to join the phone’s wifi network, which is a one-time process for me. Because I figured things out on my own, I didn’t write down step-by-step instructions. Then, while the printer’s blue signal indicator blinks, I turn on my phone’s wifi (but not the phone’s hotspot). I then place anything I wish to print on the smartphone screen, press the upper right 3-dots, and if the drop-downs include the option PRINT, I know I can print anything; if not, I’ll move it to a different spot, such as a snapshot folder, and try again. When I press the PRINT button, a message with a printer icon displays, and I select OK??? After that, it should be able to print. One of these days, I’m going to print the complete user’s manual to see what I can do with this printer. Sorry, but that’s all I have at the moment.
